  The Indian film industry has lost a versatile actor and director, Satish Kaushik, who passed away at the age of 65. He began his career as a theatre artist and later moved to Bollywood where he made a name for himself through his acting and direction skills. Kaushik was known for his comic timing, and some of his memorable roles include the character of Pappu Pager in the iconic film "Mr. India", and the character of Calendar in "Ghayal". He also played a serious role in the critically acclaimed movie "Brick Lane". Kaushik was not only a successful actor but also an accomplished director who gave some excellent movies to the industry, such as "Tere Naam" and "Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai".
