Sylvester Stallone Absent from Upcoming 'Creed III': Producers Explain Surprising Decision

Sylvester Stallone will not be appearing in the upcoming film "Creed III," despite his significant involvement in the previous two installments of the franchise. Stallone played the iconic character of Rocky Balboa, who served as the mentor and trainer to Adonis Creed, the son of his former rival and friend Apollo Creed.

Stallone's absence from the upcoming film has caused speculation among fans and the media. However, a representative for Stallone has clarified that the decision was not made by Stallone himself, but rather by the film's producers.

According to the representative, Stallone had intended to be involved in "Creed III," but the producers decided to take the story in a different direction that did not include his character. Stallone has expressed his disappointment at not being a part of the film, but he remains supportive of the franchise and the new cast and crew.

"Creed III" will see Michael B. Jordan returning as Adonis Creed, who is now a father himself and facing a new set of challenges in and out of the ring. The film will be directed by newcomer Michaela Coel, who gained critical acclaim for her work on the hit television series "I May Destroy You."

The absence of Stallone from "Creed III" marks a significant shift in the franchise, which has been closely associated with his iconic character of Rocky Balboa. However, the film's producers and cast have expressed their excitement about the new direction and the opportunity to bring fresh perspectives to the story.
