Selena Gomez's SAG Awards absence: the real reason revealed!

Selena Gomez's absence from the 2022 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards was not due to any drama with Hailey Bieber or her social media break, according to sources close to the singer. Instead, Gomez had to miss the event due to a scheduling conflict with her upcoming film, "Dollhouse."

Rumors had circulated that Gomez's absence was due to a perceived feud with Bieber or because she was taking a break from social media. However, sources have confirmed that these speculations are unfounded.

Gomez had been nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for her performance in the Hulu series "Only Murders in the Building." The series, which also stars Steve Martin and Martin Short, follows a group of true crime enthusiasts who become involved in a real-life murder mystery.

Despite not being able to attend the SAG Awards ceremony, Gomez expressed her gratitude for the nomination in a statement, saying, "I am so honored to be recognized by my peers and the Screen Actors Guild for my work on 'Only Murders in the Building.' I am incredibly proud of this project and the talented cast and crew that brought it to life."

The SAG Awards, which honor the best performances in film and television, were held on February 27, 2022. While Gomez could not attend, her "Only Murders in the Building" co-stars Martin and Short were in attendance and presented an award together.
